The classes have been designed with love, to encourage parents and infants to explore and engage with Yoga, fun and relaxation together.

It is really important that toddlers and young children experience consistency and routine. So the structure of the class will be as listed below. The variable each week will be the story and/or Nursary Rhymes explored. IF YOUR CHILD HAS A FAVE NURSERY RHYME OR SHORT STORY LET ME KNOW SO I CAN INCORPORATE IT INTO A CLASS.

During the 20min session we will;

9:35 - Arrive

9:40 - 9:45 Intro song & breathing games

9:45 - 9:50 - Yoga Games

9:50 - 9:55 - Yoga nursery Rhymes &/or short story

9:55 - 10:00 Relaxation

Many people are frightened of the Toddler age. Frightened to teach a class to this age group and/or worried to take their toddler along to a class at this age. Before you attend any toddler class take the pressure off both of you by reminding yourself that #lovenotcontrol will help you. You can not 'control' your toddler you can simply guide and love them to explore the world safely.

This class is a safe place with no judgment just Yoga. Yes your toddler may wonder off for a walk around the room mid session, decide they neeeeeeeeed a drink or snack, decide that jumping is the only thing their body is capable of hahahahah. These are all normal and totally acceptable, how we react to this will determine how you and they feel upon leaving the class.

The Venue

Indee Yoga Studio is a beautiful place to visit. It has shower and full toilet facilities....including hairdryers!

You can park in the Old Town Centre, the Old Town Car Parks or at the Gadebridge Car park and take a stroll through the park.

Its a lovely location and after class you could always treat yourself to a lovely cup of warmth and cake at one of the cafes.

The Concept Of Sunday Morning Family Yoga Community

On a Sunday morning I will be running 2 classes that will roll from one into the other! The idea is that we can build a family yoga community, creating a relaxed atmosphere for yoga, friendship and creativity to be explored.

9:00 Kids Yoga class will start. This is for a child and their parent to attend. I am calling it 'Kids Yoga' as apposed to 'Family Yoga' because this class will be aimed at children 5 years+. Parents are WELCOME to join in and share their child's mat.....

Equally if attending with a child and a baby you are welcome to tend to your baby and watch on at your child........ There is a lovely waiting area next to the yoga studio where you can run around with a toddler or play with their fave toys as you wait for your older child's class to finish and your toddlers class to begin.

Kids Yoga in the main studio at Indee Yoga starts at 9:00 - 9:30

this flows into

Creative craft at 9:30. I will set this up in the yoga studio at the back. The children can explore the creative craft with each other and their parents making new friends and socialising

Whilst the older children work on their crafts the toddlers will arrive and start their class. I am happy for the older children to join in with the toddler class where their is space to do so.
