This workshop is all about exploring how you can explore Yoga through a regular story book at home. I have even written yoga sessions for children around factual books (one that springs to mind was based around a book that explored airports and planes).

Date: saturday Dec 8th

Places Available: x3 families (1 child: 1 adult)

Time: 60min session (9:30 - 10:30)

Suitable for children 3 years+

During a workshop we will cover

● Family Yoga Breathing

Helping children to become aware of their breath and how it can help them

● Silly Silence

Movement & games that encourage being silent . This helps children to explore what quiet is in a fun way.

● Story Book Yoga

Using the magic of story we will go on a yoga journey together. I will read from the book as we explore different Yoga Asanas appropriate for children.

● Sensory Relaxation

Learning and practising ways to help our bodies and minds to relax including some creative craft time

There will be time for me to discuss with families Asanas appropriate for their favourite book (if brought to the workshop)

In addition to the workshop....

Parking: there may be space on the drive, street or there is plenty o parking at the local carpark 2min walk from the studio......park here and you could pop to a cafe after for a little treat :0)
